- Grimbergen airfield sits inside the municipality. Around such a field there is a zone where you cannot simply fly. That does not make all of Grimbergen impossible, it means I look your address up first. That costs me five minutes and you nothing.
- Strombeek-Bever sits against the Brussels ring and the city edge. The airspace there is busier and the buildings closer together, so I fly lower and shorter, and clearance is sometimes needed.
- Beigem and Humbeek are considerably more open. Towards the canal and the fields there is room to work calmly, and a flight there can usually happen within the week.
- The abbey, the Prinsenbos and the old water mills on the Maalbeek give backdrops a photo from the street never reaches. For a business or property nearby that is a real bonus.
