The price depends on what you get, not on what is in the picture: a house or a field costs the same. Every amount is a starting price for one place.

    I fly close along every roof face, the gutters, the chimney and the panels. You get the photos sorted per side and the video of the full circuit. What they show is for you or your roofer to judge.

    I am there at the agreed time and wait for the right moment: the arrival, the setup, the group photo from above. You get edited photos and the video footage. It ties up a fixed day and hour, often a Saturday.

A fixed price up front

Send me the address, what you want and when. Within two working days you get a fixed price, and it does not change after that. It only goes above the starting price for more than one place or more time on site. Outside the municipality of Zemst, travel comes on top.

What I do not deliver

  • No thermal imaging.
  • No 3D measurement, lidar or survey to the centimetre.
  • No inspection report. I am not a roofing expert: you get footage, and you or your contractor judge what it shows.

That is why I cost less than companies that do.

All amounts exclude VAT. As a private customer you pay 21% VAT on top: that is the incl. VAT amount under each price.

Where I fly

I live in Zemst and work mostly within half an hour of driving. These are the municipalities I come to most often, so a flight there can usually be arranged quickly:

Zemst, Eppegem, Elewijt, Weerde, Hofstade, Mechelen, Muizen, Hombeek, Leest, Walem, Heffen, Vilvoorde, Grimbergen, Strombeek-Bever, Humbeek, Meise, Machelen, Steenokkerzeel, Kampenhout, Boortmeerbeek, Haacht, Bonheiden, Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Londerzeel, Willebroek, Blaasveld, Tisselt, Heindonk, Lier, Koningshooikt, Duffel, Sint-Katelijne-Waver.

In the municipality of Zemst (Eppegem, Zemst, Elewijt, Weerde and Hofstade) travel is included in the price. In the other municipalities above, I add 25 euros of travel. If your location is further out in Flanders or in Brussels, it is 35 euros up to around 50 kilometres, and beyond that I make a quote. Part of this area sits under the Brussels Airport approach, so I always check your address against the official airspace map before we set a date.

Frequently asked questions about drone footage

Who can do a drone flight in Eppegem, Zemst or Mechelen?

I can: Romain Goyeau of GY Digital. I live in Zemst, so Eppegem, Elewijt, Weerde and Hofstade are minutes away, and Mechelen, Vilvoorde and Grimbergen just as much. Do you film weddings as well?

Yes, from 225 euros excl. VAT, or 272.25 euros incl. VAT for a private customer. I film the arrival, the venue and a group photo from above, in agreement with you and the photographer. What I do not do is fly over a packed reception or dance floor: flying over a crowd is prohibited, even with a light aircraft. Outdoors, with the guests lined up, it works and it usually gives the better image.

Do you take family photos from the air?

Yes, from 85 euros excl. VAT, or 102.85 euros incl. VAT for a private customer. Everyone together in the garden, on the beach or in a field, photographed from above. It is a classic group photo from an angle nobody else has of you. It is also the simplest job: one location, half an hour on site, edited photos afterwards.

What can a drone under 250 grams do, and what can it not?

With an aircraft under 250 grams in category A1 I can get closer to people than with a heavier drone, and most places need no separate clearance. What is still not allowed: flying over a crowd, going higher than 120 metres, flying beyond my line of sight, or flying in a closed zone. That last one I check per address.

Are you allowed to fly anywhere?

No. Belgium is divided into zones and part of this area sits under the Brussels Airport approach. Some addresses need clearance, elsewhere it is simply allowed. I look up your address before we set a date and tell you plainly if it cannot be done.

Do you have a licence and insurance?

Yes. I hold the EU drone licence A1/A3, I fly with third-party liability insurance (certificate on request) and my aircraft is registered. That is not just paperwork: without it you as the client are exposed too.

What does a drone flight cost?

It depends on what you get, not on what is in the picture. There are five packages: aerial photos from 85 euros, photos with the video footage from 150, roof and gutters up close from 115, a set moment such as a wedding from 225, and a 360° tour from 295. All amounts exclude VAT; a private customer pays 21% VAT on top. You always get a fixed price first and decide afterwards.

How soon do I get the footage?

Usually two to three working days after the flight. If you need it faster for a publication, say so in advance and I will plan around it.

What happens in bad weather?

The flight does not go ahead and we find another day. Rain and strong wind give unusable footage, and I do not want to charge you for that.

Are people recognisable in the footage?

At the height I work at, passers-by are dots. I point the camera at your property, not at the neighbours’ gardens. If you want to be completely sure, we film at a quiet moment.
