- GY Digital is the work of Romain Goyeau, working out of Zemst, between Mechelen and Vilvoorde in Belgium.
- I fly myself. I have aircraft both under and over 250 grams and pick per job what the rules allow, with the EU A1/A3 licence, insurance and registered aircraft.
- A drone flight starts from 50 euros. A full job with edited photos and a cut video runs up to around 200 euros.
- Service area: Zemst including Eppegem, Elewijt, Weerde and Hofstade, plus Mechelen, Vilvoorde, Grimbergen, Kampenhout, Boortmeerbeek, Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Bonheiden, Willebroek and Lier. Further into Flanders by arrangement.
- You get the edited footage two to three working days after the flight.
- What I do not do: fly over a crowd, fly without the required clearance, or fly in rain or strong wind.

Every amount below is a starting price for one location. What it comes to for you depends on the time on site and how much editing you want. You always get a price first.
Aerial photo of your property or site
from 50 EURA set of edited photos from the sky of your house, business or land. The simplest job, and usually the quickest.
Edited drone video
from 90 EURA short film of half a minute to a minute and a half, cut and set to music, ready for your site or social media.
Wedding
from 150 EURThe arrival, the venue and a group photo from above. I film the surroundings and the posed moments, not the packed dance floor: flying over a crowd is not allowed, so I do not do it.
Family or group photo from the air
from 50 EUREveryone together in the garden or on the beach, seen from above. A classic group photo nobody else has of you.
Party, event or open day
from 120 EURThe grounds, the layout and the atmosphere from above. With a crowd it depends on the permit and the setup: I check that in advance and tell you plainly what is possible.
House or property for sale
from 50 EURThe plot, the garden and the location in one image. That sells a home faster than ten photos taken from the pavement.
Construction site and renovation
from 70 EURRecord the progress of your project, or show the finished result. If you follow a site monthly, the price per visit drops.

Who can do a drone flight in Eppegem, Zemst or Mechelen?

Do you film weddings as well?
Yes, from 150 euros. I film the arrival, the venue and a group photo from above, in agreement with you and the photographer. What I do not do is fly over a packed reception or dance floor: flying over a crowd is prohibited, even with a light aircraft. Outdoors, with the guests lined up, it works and it usually gives the better image.
Do you take family photos from the air?
Yes, from 50 euros. Everyone together in the garden, on the beach or in a field, photographed from above. It is a classic group photo from an angle nobody else has of you. It is also the simplest job: one location, half an hour on site, edited photos afterwards.
What can a drone under 250 grams do, and what can it not?
With an aircraft under 250 grams in category A1 I can get closer to people than with a heavier drone, and most places need no separate clearance. What is still not allowed: flying over a crowd, going higher than 120 metres, flying beyond my line of sight, or flying in a closed zone. That last one I check per address.
Are you allowed to fly anywhere?
No. Belgium is divided into zones and part of this area sits under the Brussels Airport approach. Some addresses need clearance, elsewhere it is simply allowed. I look up your address before we set a date and tell you plainly if it cannot be done.
Do you have a licence and insurance?
Yes. I hold the EU drone licence A1/A3, I fly insured and my aircraft is registered. That is not just paperwork: without it you as the client are exposed too.
What does a drone flight cost?
It depends on the location, the time on site and how much editing you need. For one location with edited photos and a short video it runs up to around 200 euros, and a simple flight already starts from 50 euros. You always get a price first and decide afterwards.
How soon do I get the footage?
Usually two to three working days after the flight. If you need it faster for a publication, say so in advance and I will plan around it.
What happens in bad weather?
The flight does not go ahead and we find another day. Rain and strong wind give unusable footage, and I do not want to charge you for that.
Are people recognisable in the footage?
At the height I work at, passers-by are dots. I point the camera at your property, not at the neighbours’ gardens. If you want to be completely sure, we film at a quiet moment.
