Drone for hospitality

Drone footage for hospitality

People choose a place with their eyes. A terrace by the water, a garden behind the building or a hall with parking next to it: that sells itself the moment someone sees it. From the street none of it is visible.

I like filming around sunset, when the light is warm and the terrace is full.

Why this works for hospitality

  • Your setting is often your strongest asset and at the same time the hardest thing to photograph. On the water, on a square or against greenery: that needs height.
  • The size of a hall or terrace is always guesswork in a normal photo. From above people simply count the tables.
  • Moving footage does better on social media than a still, and ten seconds of aerial is already enough.
  • For event venues and wedding locations an aerial shot has become close to compulsory: people want to see the whole site before asking for a quote.

What you get

A short mood video

Ten to thirty seconds, ready for Instagram, Facebook and the top of your website.

Photos of terrace and surroundings

Edited and usable for your menu, your site and the booking platforms.

A shot of parking and access

Handy for guests wondering where to leave the car.

What it roughly costs

One flight with edited photos and a short video starts from 70 euros. If you want two moments, for example daytime and sunset, I count that separately and you end up around 200 euros.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fly while guests are on the terrace?

With an aircraft under 250 grams I may come closer to people than with a heavier drone, but I do not fly directly over full tables. In practice I film at an angle, from outside in, and everyone stays put.

Are my guests recognisable in the footage?

At the height I work at, people are dots. If you want to be completely sure, we film before or after service.

Can it be done at sunset?

That is the best moment, and also the busiest. We pick a day together where it works.

May I put the footage on booking platforms?

Yes, you may use it anywhere for your own business.

A site for your business too?

I build hospitality websites with online booking. That aerial footage goes straight to the top of the page.
